Begin with the open floor area.

The Plane Wide Grinder gives the open-floor part of a project its own place in the Planeform collection. A visibly broader working platform, substantial rear wheels and the familiar pale mineral housing create a more expansive walk-behind direction while keeping the family relationship clear. The form is meant to be compared with the access-led Compact and balanced Studio arrangements.

Map the usable floor before choosing around width alone. Columns, fixed equipment, door openings, changes in level and the route from unloading to the work area can alter the practical setup. Wide is a starting point for discussing broader areas, not a claim about measured coverage or output.

Look across the working platform

  • A broad visual stance. The lower platform extends the machine’s presence across the floor and separates Wide from the other grinder formats.
  • A stable rear arrangement. Substantial wheels and a composed handle structure give the transport side of the concept a clear visual order.
  • A recognizable family shell. Pale mineral panels over a darker lower body connect the machine to Compact and Studio.
  • A whole-floor role. Wide should be considered with the perimeter plan, access constraints, tooling sequence and extraction connection.

Define the space before the package

Send Planeform the open floor area, narrowest access point, transport route, available power and intended work. Ask for confirmed working width, footprint, operating and transport dimensions, weight, electrical requirements, tooling interface, edge clearance and dust connection for the supplied machine.

Confirm what is supplied

Ask for an itemized written confirmation before ordering. It should distinguish the machine and fitted components from any tooling, adapters, hose connections or other accessories. Objects or equipment shown in the gallery provide context and do not confirm inclusion.

Plan the work beyond the center

Compare Plane Compact and Plane Studio where the route or working area calls for a different format. Use Edgeform or Detailform to plan the perimeter and smaller areas separately. Then select tooling, shrouds and extraction connections only after the exact interfaces and intended process have been confirmed.
