Start with the route into the room.
The Plane Compact Grinder is the access-led member of the Planeform floor-grinding collection. Its short visual stance, rounded mineral housing and dark circular working deck bring the machine into a contained walk-behind form. A lower folding-handle direction and smaller rear wheels distinguish Compact from the balanced Studio and broader Wide formats.
Begin with the path to the floor. Doorways, corridors, thresholds, lifts, stairs and storage all affect whether a machine belongs in the plan. Compact gives tighter working areas a clear place in the comparison, while the final choice still depends on confirmed dimensions, weight, electrical requirements and the work intended for the surface.
Read the compact arrangement
- A contained machine profile. The short wheelbase direction keeps the housing, deck and rear support visually close together.
- A folding-handle concept. The handle arrangement signals that transport and storage should be considered alongside work on the floor.
- A clearly defined working deck. The dark circular lower form separates the working area from the pale mineral housing above it.
- An access-first role. Compact belongs in a plan shaped by the route, the room and the areas the main machine must reach.
Confirm the machine before selection
Share the narrowest point on the access route, any level changes, the transport method, available power and the intended floor work. Ask Planeform to confirm the supplied machine’s working width, overall footprint, folded and operating dimensions, weight, electrical requirements, tooling interface and dust connection.
Clarify the supplied package
Request a written, itemized package before ordering. It should identify the machine, fitted components, any tooling or connection accessories supplied and the operating documentation. The gallery shows the product direction and working context; it does not establish package contents.
Place Compact in the wider system
Compare Plane Studio where a balanced main-floor format suits the plan, and Plane Wide when the conversation begins with open floor areas. Add a separate edge and detail approach, then confirm tooling and extraction connections against the chosen machine. Contact Planeform with the route and floor information to work through the complete arrangement.
